AT A GLANCE
Our ethos is based on a fundamental respect for children and young people and their capacity to instigate, test and maintain curiosity in the world around them. We believe in the right to play; the right to access the outdoors (and in particular a woodland environment); the right to access risk and the vibrant reality of the natural world; and the right to experience a healthy range of emotions, through all the challenges of social interaction, to build a resilience that will enable continued and creative engagement with their peers and their potential.

Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning.

how
we can help you
Green Trees Forest School would love to support you as you educate and develop children.
By focusing on can-do rather than what can't be done, we have the opportunity to nurture children as they develop greater self-esteem, respect for others, and a care for the world around them.
We work with schools, youth projects and home education groups.
